We're turning Ponce City Roof into the French Quarter this Mardi Gras season for a WHOLE WEEKEND, Friday March 1st through Sunday March 3rd. We'll be tossing beads, pouring Hurricanes, playing live music, and we'll even have our own FLOAT to pose with. Be sure to wear your most outlandish Carnival getup and masks to enter our Costume Contest!

The entire weekend will have specialty Nawlins cocktails pouring from all 3 bars on The Roof and several Cajun foodie favorites will be on hand. A Crawfish Boil is happening on Saturday afternoon (additional charge) if you want to get down and dirty with it. It’s a nonstop party all weekend ending with a live jazz brunch on Sunday, so come get a slice of that Krewe life!

Do I need advance tickets for Mardi Gras?

Nope! Just stop by THE ROOF ticket booth in the courtyard of Ponce City Market. You can pay for your admission, get a wristband and we’ll take you up on a fun elevator ride!

Ok cool. How much do tickets cost?

Admission for THE ROOF on March 1st, 2nd, and 3rd is $15. If you want to make your experience even more fantastic, we have a Crawfish Boil on Saturday, the 2nd for $40 and, as always, you can make reservations to 9 Mile Station and get your admission included!

Pre-purchase Crawfish Boil tickets here.

What food options are available?

For Mardi Gras we have a TON of food options for you and your guests. The crawfish boil is a fantastic option for Saturday. 9 Mile Station is perfect for any night, but make sure you reserve in advance. And Skyline Park will be serving a wide variety of things to eat (and drink!) including Louisianan Gumbo w/Chicken Thigh, Andouille Sausage, and Muffuletta Sliders. Yum!

What’s the Crawfish Boil all about?

Whole crawfish, delicious andouille sausage, corn, red potatoes, green peppers, celery, red onion, grilled fennel. For those who might have a shellfish allergy, we’ll offer a Sausage & Chicken Boil. Sides include hush puppies, Hoppin’ John salad, muffuletta deviled eggs, red bean & rice. And for dessert – king cake!

Bringing the kids? $27 for kids 12 and under.

Is there an age requirement?

Kids activities are available Saturday and Sunday until 5pm. Adults 21+ only after 5 Friday and Saturday. The last time any one under 21 will be admitted is 5pm.

How do I get there?

THE ROOF ticket booth is located on the southeast side of the Ponce City Market courtyard (that’s on the North Ave side). It’s a big glass building full of friendly, fun people waiting to answer your questions and help you purchase tickets.
